DPL VU AstroCan & D-CBI (or CBI+)

The DPL VU AstroCan is an enhanced version of the original DPL VU.

The DPL VU AstroCan is fully controllable via the AstroCan Bus system. It won’t work with any other control systems!

Text from the regular DPL VU:
The main difference to the classic DPL are the additional digital RGB Leds.
The other Leds are driven by a Maxim7219 LED driver chip as usual.
It’s a DPL with more blink blink.
With coding you can show battery status via the digital Leds, use it as a VU meter or whatever your creativity tells you.

Differences to the “regular” CBI & DPLs:

• Everything on 1 pcb – Arduino, terminals for power and voltage sensor are integrated in the DPL – even added I2C & serial breakout
• Digital VU Leds
• Terminals for the other Printed Droid Body Lights
• Better tracing
• Improved LED alignment
• Possibility to use the digital CBI version

The Digital Charging Bay Indicator is an enhanced version of the classic CBI.

The D-CBI is a full digital version of the classic CBI. It also has the 3 additional voltage sensor Leds direct on the pcb.
It’s possible to break them away and remove them or to place somewhere else connected via wires.

If you want to connect it to a classic DPL you need to modify the code!

The Charging Bay Indicators+ are an enhanced version of the classic CBI.

The CBI+ is an “analog” 3mm Led PCB. It has the 3 additional voltage sensor Leds direct on the pcb.
It’s possible to break them away and place somewhere else connected via wires.
The CBI+ can be used with any DPL version out there.

This comes as a Kit (2 soldered PCBs, Arduino & cable)
